    Morning everyone!

I had my 32-week appt. and u/s yesterday, and all is good with our babies! Baby boy is the presenting baby, and he's head down (and low), and baby girl is totally breech -- basically standing upright in my belly! He is 3 lbs, 7 oz, she is 3 lbs, 2 oz (for all that those weight estimates mean!). I looked at the gestational weights in the sticky above, and according to that, these guys are small, but my doctor said they're in good shape, so ... whew!

They've been in these same positions for months now (or at least for every u/s), so I don't think she's going to flip anytime soon, which is a bummer. I really really wanted a vag birth, but I do NOT want to deliver him vag and then wind up with a c-section to get her out anyway, so I think that a c-sec for both is probably the smartest way to go. I'm not thrilled about it, but I have to do what makes sense for the babies -- don't want her getting in distress if we try flipping her during a vag -- and for my own recovery b/c I need to be on my feet ASAP after delivery to take care of those little ones!

So as of right now we've got a tentative date of December 13 (37w1d) -- FIVE WEEKS from today!!! My next appt. and u/s are in two weeks, so we'll see if anything changes by then, but if not (and if I don't go naturally before then), then we'll meet our babies in five weeks!! :clapping:

Sorry it looks like you have to go for the c/s, but congrats on a good overall appointment! It's nice to have the end in sight.

Thanks guys! It's funny how you go from being pregnant to being super-pregnant SO fast! You go from "I'm scared to get these babies out" to "I can't wait to get these babies out!" in a heartbeat it seems. (I mean, I still want them in there for as long as they need to be, but for my own sake, I can't wait to be in charge of my own body again!) As disappointed as I am that I'll likely be getting a c-section, it's definitely nice to also know a date -- makes it much easier to plan things!
