31 week appt.

Had my 31 week appt today. My iron was too low, so she put on me on 3 pills a day if my stomach can cut it! She also will do a sonogram in two weeks to make sure the baby isn't getting too big, b/c I'm gaining at least 5lbs at each appt and sometimes more, BUT, I'm not getting fat..its all in my belly, so...who knows...my vbac wishes may be overthrown by a scheduled section before the baby gets to be a 9lb'er lol. But the topper to my day, was some idiot pulled out in front of me and nearly side swiped me on one side, and I nearly ran into the railing of the overpass...I was a hair from the railing. Scariest thing that has ever happened to me in a vehicle. I don't know how the other driver didn't see me...there is really no way they didn't other than just not looking to see if something was coming...and then, as I sat there crying in the car, they didn't even slow down to see if I was ok. Just sped off. I was sick.

 

Goodness how scary some drivers are crazy out there!! Glad to hear that you were ok!

That is horrible, I'm sorry that happened to you! I hope everything goes well for you and you get the delivery you want.

 

oh my gosh. that is so scary. im glad your okay. its just getting crazier out on the roads these days. im dreading getting my licence one of these days. I hope everything goes well in the next few weeks for you. Good Luck

 

That's so frustrating when people drive like that....especially when you are pregnant! I had a woman almost hit me head on in the parking lot of walmart a few weeks ago. She was cutting across the parking lot, and so was I, but I was looking where I was going!! She wasn't. I had my car stopped in a spot because I saw her coming, and she just kept coming straight at me but not looking at all. I laid on the horn and she looked up. I could see her mouth gasp, and she put her hand up to her chest. It was one of those moments where I knew if I hadn't blown that horn she would've run straight into me. Scary.
