Had a great peri appt yesterday. First, I met with the nurse, as I always do. She was new, had just transferred over from L&D where she has been for 10 years. She was like "Whoah! 32 weeks? And you have a 21 month old? And you're still working? That's very unusual." lol When the doc came in, he was like "Yep. I know, she's just a star." *blush* He is extremely conservative and I know he doesn't really want me working, but he said that he honestly can't think of a reason for me not to as I'm doing so well. That said, he did advise that I "wrap it up" in the next 2 weeks, which was the plan anyway.

The babies look good, they are in the ying and yang position (one face down, one feet down), fluid levels looked good, etc. My BP was slightly elevated, so I am to take some home readings. I start NST's next week...He didn't check my cervix but did ask me if I had any contrax - I haven't. I just think it's funny how they were fawning over me b/c I am still "working" and up and around at 32 weeks. I think, at least for my peri, that a lot of that is because he basically only sees high risk patients. *shrug* I don't think it's as uncommon in the real world as it may seem.

Oh yeah, and my fundal height is 45 weeks. EEK! lol! Here is a recent, 31 week belly shot.

Melissa, you look FANTASTIC. I'm just shy of 18 weeks so am just barely starting to pop out a tiny bit (can still fit in to my regular jeans but they are pretty snug). I can only hope to look half as good as you at 31 weeks - you are now my inspiration. [IMG]

    Thanks for sharing!

You look fantastic!! Sounds like things are going well! I agree that peris are often used to seeing much more 'at risk' pregnancies than one that is considered high risk due to twins. No matter what though, you are doing a wonderful job Momma!

    Thanks, everyone. [IMG]

I do feel like total crap today. I seem to have good days and bad days and this is a bad one. I just want to go back to bed, but can't go home b/c DH is painting the living room.

I am working at reduced hrs through next week and then I'm done. I am definitely so ready at this point. [IMG]

Congrats on a good appointment. I have an OB appointment tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it. I always feel better after I talk to my doctor and get to hear their heartbeats. Were due around the same time. I have a c-section scheduled for the end of March. Right now I feel like I'm ready to pop. I'm just counting the weeks down, right now it seems like it's taking a long time. I'm just trying to get as much rest as I can.

sorry you are feeling poorly today. But I agree... I always feel 10times better than normal the day of or after an appt. especially because I keep getting good reports!! You look awesome. sounds like your DH is going through the same thing mine is... Male Nesting is what he calls it... he is remodeling our whole basement, but hey I got to move into my new office tonight. So it was worth being "banned" during painting!

Brianna -- lol on the male nesting. Too funny!

I don't have a c/s date yet, but I just keep telling people "around St. Patty's day" -- hoping I make it that far. I suspect we'll schedule one soon...

Felt better the next day. I seem to have really bad days and so so days. I am finding it very difficult to sit up in bed or on the couch. The only way I'm comfie is laying down in bed with a pillow between my legs and clutching a pillow. lol. Ah, the fun part!

    32 weeks today!! Wahoo!
