I had my 30wk appt today. The u/s was good, baby A is 3lbs 11oz, and baby B is 3lbs 13oz. Both fluis look good and my cervix measured 3.4 long. My tummy measured 39wks. Thats about it the doc said " well ur having contractions because your body thinks u are full term . I was thinking "no crap". Just told em to rest and see me in 2 weeks. But the babies r looking good and that makes me happy even though im miserable.
Glad to hear that it went well!!! That is great that you don't have to be on bedrest or anything!!! Enjoy your freedom and try to give your body the rest it needs!!!
Great news! I'm sorry you are so miserable. I think the name of the game at this point is to do whatever you can to make yourself more comfortable. Do warm showers/baths help?? I found at about 28-30 weeks that the more time i spent submerged in a bath (with some nice epsom salts and lavendar oil), the happier i was. Hang in there, the end IS in sight!
Going to submerge myself tonight. I've been thinking I'm too huge to get out but I'll try it and hubby will gladly rescue me. Uncomfortable is the right word. This is getting silly - either tired, achey, peeing, too full from a small meal, grouchy, tired, and on and on.... this is what the last month is like??? Congrats on your wonderful 30 week appt. It is nice to be creeping toward that light at the end of the tunnel. Mj
