DH and I had our medical portion exams last night for our life insurance policies that we are getting (over and above what work offers). Well, the guy came to our house and was in love with the girls. Him and his wife has 9 yo twin boys at home, so he just loved the girls. Anyway, they weighed us...then, just to be nice he let both of the girls step on the scale since that's what mommy and daddy were doing and they were glued to our laps while he was there.

Morgan was just around 30 pounds  (of course, that's with clothes and a diaper on...heheh) What happened to my preemie?? 30 pounds just sounds SO BIG to me. She was only 4#8oz at birth. And, she has consistently stayed in the 50% for her weight...but, she is tall...usually around the 85%-90% range for height. Reagan was around 27-28 pounds! I can deal with that! Hehehee!!! Hearing 30 pounds though just made me feel like any "baby' part of them is gone already. I'm not ready for my "babies" to be turning 2 and weighing in the 3's now...lol!!!

That's my self-pity party for the day! Hehehe....I just cant' believe their birthday is just 6 weeks away....seems like only yesterday when they were born. I remember the day where it was 6 months of high cal formula and when Reagan was born she wasn't even on her growth curve for a 34 weeker. I'm so proud of my little girls!!!

They are doing really well Becky!! It's hard to believe she's 30# from where she started, but like you said - she's tall and tall is good! :D :hug99:

From one tall person to another Di, I couldn't agree more!!!! I was overweight most of my life (until about 5 years ago) and no would ever believed what I actually weighed b/c with my height I "carried it well"...geez, I got sick of hearing that one! But yep, tall is good!!!

    Awesome growth!
FYI my pedi weighed the girls in today and they were weighed with all clothes on but no shoes on.

I hear you, Becky. I'm not planning on having any more, and my girls are just not babies anymore! :( :) :good: :yahoo:  mixed feelings... I have to say I love this age, and have loved every age more and more. But I barely remember babies anymore and that sort of bothers me.

Bea stepped on the home digital scale yesterday and it read 28.8 and I was like "waaaah??" I even checked it to see if the zero reset was messed up since they were pressing buttons. I don't know where my tiny babies went either, even though like Marie, I barely remember them being newborns.
