What time do your 3 year olds nap? For how long?

Same for bedtime...what time are they in bed and how long do they sleep?

    Just curious!

My girls go down for a nap at 1 pm. They sometimes are asleep right away, sometimes it's more like 1:30 before they fall asleep. They will sleep anywhere from 1.5-3 hours.

For bedtime...they are in bed around 8 pm (sometimes 8:30). They are usually asleep by 8:30-9:00 (they tend to talk/sing for awhile). They get up around 7:30-8 am in the mornings.

Mine only nap on occasion because I have to protect my earlyish bedtime. 7:30 is when I try to be OUT of the room. There is a little talking usually, but they are out no later than 8:00 p.m. and they sleep till 6:30 usually.

If they nap, I put them to bed by 8:00 p.m. ....

My DD doesn't have a "nap" time; instead we call it "quiet" time. She doesn't always sleep. That time tends to be from about 2:00 until about 4:00. Sometimes she plays in her room the whole time (she gets special toys that she only gets to play with during her quiet time), but usually what happens is she'll play for about an hour then fall asleep for the last part of it. If we've had an especially busy morning outside, she may nap for the entire time.

Her bed time isn't always consistent though. I try to have her in bed by 8:30. She's usually up between 7:30 and 8:00. If she goes to bed later than 8:30, she's still up by 8:00, most of the time. The rule in the morning is to play in her room until Mommy or Daddy come get her. We've gotten a little lax about that though, and I regret that now.

Mine have pretty much stopped napping. They go down for the night usually at 7:30, sometimes closer to 8. If they have slept during the day, they don't fall asleep until 9:30 or later. If they haven't slept, they fall asleep by 7:35.

They get up between 7-8 in the AM (usually).

I hate all of you. :p I wish my boys slept late!!!
They go to bed between 7:30-8:30 all depending on the day and where they are.

They don't nap unless in the car, which is getting annoying. It lasts about an hour. Although this weekend they were both sick, so they napped in my bed (me too!) for 2 hours. That's rare.

They get up anywhere between 5:15 and 6:45. Again, hate you gals!

Becky, our schedule is identical to yours at the moment. Although, they usually are up by 6:30am.

They stopped napping 5 months ago. Right now, it's lights out at 7pm but they chat and stay awake in their beds until 8Pm sometimes. In the morning, they wake up around 6am or 6:30am.

They go down for naps for two hours unless it took them awhile to fall asleep and I don't want to wake them up. They usually go down from 1:30 to 3:30 but occasionally get a bit longer if they're still asleep. We also skip naps some days, like yesterday we went swimming at my mom's. Bedtime if they had a nap is between 7:30 and 8 depending on how they're acting. If there was no nap it's usually 7 but definitely no later than 7:30. They are up between 7:30 and 8 usually but I sometimes here the boys talking about 7:15.

I am out of the room by 7:30. They often won't sleep until 8:30. They are up by 5:30. Nap is at 12 and they will usually nap 3 if not 4 hours. They do not sleep well at night. They are very overtired. For the life of me I can't get them to sleep later (been trying for years as most of you well know). They are having their tonsils and adnoids out next month in the hopes that they will help them sleep better and get rid of the grumpies!!!

I'm jealous of those of you whose little ones still nap! Jessica and Katelyn gave up naps a few months ago now. They go to bed by 7:00 pm and are up at 7:00-7:30 am. If they had a particularly active day, they might sleep until as late as 8:30 am.

This is pretty much identical to us! Mine still are supposed to have "quiet time" from 1-3. They go to their room, and I let them take some books. They usually just play. I don't think they have taken a real nap since switching to beds. They sometimes catch a nap in the car. So, bedtime is 7:00, they are normally out pretty quickly. I've even put them to bed at 6:30 a few times.

My girls usually ask for a nap around 1:00 and will sleep about an hour. Bedtime is usually 8:30, sometimes 9:00. One gets up around 7:00 (because she hears DS and DH leaving) and the other will sleep until 8:00 (later at times). Like PP, this schedule will vary depending on daily activities, especially during the summer.

    [SIZE=14pt]Mine is pretty similar:
~Down for a nap by 1:30....and then I have to
    wake them up....which I do by 4:00....
~Bedtime is around 8 pm, and then
they are usually up between 6:30-7:00
    in the mornings......

    Hope this lasts! 8)

Mine don't nap everyday, just when they have worn themselves out. When they do it is usually around 1-2 PM and they will nap until 4 PM.

ETA: They go to bed at 9 PM.

Becky, my schedule seems similar to yours. My girls go in for a nap between 1:30 and 2 and then sleep sometimes up to 3 hours depending on how tired they are and if there was a skipped nap the day before. I usually start the bedtime routine at 8:30 and they are in by 8:45. If they have not napped and seem cranky I will put them in earlier. They usually wake up btwn 8-9 but I prefer that they are up no later than 8:30. No matter what time they go to sleep or if there was a nap they are up around the same time every morning.

If I let them sleep too late for nap they sometimes are up till close to 10pm talking and chatting in their cribs.

Our schedule was pretty much the same as yours, Becky. Wake around 7:00 - 7:30, nap at 1:00 - 3:30ish, bed around 7:30 - 8:00.
