2ND SET OF TWINS!

So went in today for my first appt. And its TWINS again!! Still in shock... The girls will be 3 when these twins are born. I am only 5 wks. 3 days so very early but... WOW!! I have always wanted another set but maybe 4 or 5 years apart.. But hey, God planned it and I know He is with us. Both very spontaeous sets!! So due date is 10/10/11 but we all no how that goes with twins!!

mine are three years apart too, and its jsut fine.

Thanks for all the kind words!! Had a good sleep last nite so feel better today! But the sickness is setting in I just want to make it to at least 35 weeks when i had the girls. I just can't see any earlier than that. But i know lots of you have done it and its all in God's hands anyway.. Just pray for us... And theres always vanishing twin and miscarriage. The doc said 5% change of VT and cant remember miscarriage rate. But both had good sacks and fetal poles. He thought maybe a heartbeat but am gonna go back for high def ultrasound in 3 weeks at my peri I had with girls. I am in very good hands so happy for that

Congratulations! I'm with you. My first set are 6 and I'm 27 weeks along with the next ones. Just keep up the positive attitude. You're doing great!

CONGRATS!!! :babyflips: :babyflips: DH and I are discussing trying for "1" more, but I'd love to have two again! My boys would be 4 but even now I think they would be great! When you said the due date, I thought 9/10/11 would be fun!! So happy for you and that you get to have the same peri you had before!

Thanks! My girls are frats, one has brown eyes, one blue. Otherwise they look quite abit alike. These were def two sacks so that is one less worry. I have been so sick this week. Bothers me cuz I am only 5 weeks 5 days and with the girls my ms started at 9 weeks. Maybe this means it will be over sooner?!! The girls play together by themselves well but they do make a mess! But thats our life rite now I guess. They called back with appt. for the peri and its March 2. So i will be 8 weeks 2 days so will be able to see heartbeats and will be a big relief! Wow.. Have only told my sis yet.. My folks are volunteering in Haiti and will be home Mon. so prob will tell them and DH folks then. Was gonna wait till my peri appt. but now that i've been so sick its hard to make excuses all the time and i wouldn't mind the help. They all live rite around here so lots of good help! Like my sis said, this is different pregnancy than most so my big plans of waiting to tell people mite have to be changed a bit <_< I just hope everything sticks and we have two healthy little pumpkins!! and hey, love the due date.. That wood be 35 weeks 5 days only <_< I wood luv to make 36-37 weeks. Such a relief. I will get a cerclage this time also.. Hope to not have 13 weeks of bedrest tho!

 

YAY!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I am SO excited for you!!!!! one set of twins is amazing but 2 sets!! WOW!!! what a blessing!! Your girls will be such great big sisters and even at 3 they will help you quite a bit! You are in my thoughts and prayers!!

Congrats!! I agree that there are alot of twice over twin moms on here! It really is such an amazing blessing. I think the 2nd set was a bigger shock than the 1st. LOL! Our's are completely spontaneous too and with no twin history in my family. Everyone said with my 2nd set that there was no way I'd make it to 40 wks again as I did with our 1st set. They stated it was so rare that it couldn't happen twice. And then I actually ended up carrying my 2nd set longer than the 1st and gong over my 40 wk EDD! YOu can do it!! You may just very well make it past 35 wks! Congrats!!
