I am so happy we finally made it to 28 weeks, I wasn't sure if we would make it this far. It is such a comfort knowing that if they come now they have a huge chance of surviving and being healthy. Just wanted to share.

I know how you feel! When I hit 28 weeks the sense of relief was enormous. I don't worry about every little thing now. It's nice to just relax and enjoy the rest of my pregnancy (I'm at 31 weeks now and it just gets better every day :) .) The good far outweighs the bad moments!

I just came back from the visit at the hospital for the tour of the labor and delivery....I saw a little baby and got all teary eyed cause I was so touched thinking I will have two little bundles of joy shortly.

Congratulations Jen - how wonderful. I bet you feel a million dollars $$$$$$$$$. I hit the 29 week mark today - with babies weighing 1210gms & 1219gms - so super happy and am measuring 33weeks.....

How nice is it to actually start to 'enjoy' your pregnancy - I feel like a weight has been lifted and I can now start to get to know my wee girls without worrying too much.

My ob said he is happy for me to go as far as I can - so no induction if not needed and they are both head down so far - so fingers crossed they will stay that way for a natural vaginal birth... yeeehaaa.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy - time to enjoy as the day draws nearer to when we all meet our little bundles of joy.

    Stay well.

congratulations! I am also 28 weeks and on hospital bed rest. I live abroad though, so a bit concerning having preterm labor where there is a language barrier. If you don't mind, can you share what you doctor has told you? I am on IV meds for my contractions and was told today that I will not be leaving the hospital until delivery. I'm just crious how things would be handled if I was back home. Sorry to ask so many questions and CONGRATS!!!!

    Hi jen

I hit 28 today (my ticker is off a day) I know how you feel… I even went to my Peri yesterday and heard magical words… "I would like to see you one last time in 5 weeks…" it was a hint of an end… it made up for the glucose test, 5 gallons of blood being drawn and having to get a rhogam shot….

    YEAH for us!!!!

    Elizabeth

edit: i spelt my own name wrong... preggo brain strikes again...

I am really not sure about the whole hospital bed rest situation. I have not had to deal with that, and pray that I won't. I have read others posts about having shots and taking daily medications. There is a bedrest forum on this site that would probably be very helpful for you. I don't mind questions at all, I just don't know if I can always answer them. Congrats to you as well and I hope you continue to bake those babies.

Thank you and congratulations to all of you who have also hit 28 weeks. It felt like I would never make it this far. Good luck to all of us to make it as long as possible. :a_smil09:

Elizabeth, I can sympathize completely with the preggo brain, it is really bad this time around.
