I was just wondering how I compare to the rest of you. I have been worried about my weight gain the entire time. I am hoping some of you may be able to put my mind at ease.

    How far along are you?

How much weight have you gained?

How many weeks are you measuring?

    I'm 34 weeks, 5 days.
I've gained 33 lbs so far.
I've never had my fundal height measured, I don't know why? But last week they estimated on the u/s that baby A is almost 7 lbs and baby B is almost 6 lbs, so they're big for their age!

By the way, I wouldn't worry about your weight. If your dr thinks all is well, trust him and let nature take its course. It will probably all fall off of you within a few months anyway.

    Good luck!

at 28 weeks I measured 36cm and had gained 25 pounds.
I'm 30 weeks now, but don't see my DR until tomorrow for new measurements.

like a pp said, don't worry about your weight gain unless your DR is concerned. lots of twin moms gain more early on, but then gain very little to nothing at the end because it's too hard to eat very much.

30 weeks, gained 31.5 pounds, measuring 38 weeks.

Like others have said, don't worry, everyone is different, but I do understand the curiosity factor. I wonder how everyone else is doing too [IMG]

I'm 28 weeks today. At my last appointment I was 25 weeks, had gained about 12 pounds, and was measuring 26 weeks. I have an appointment tomorrow... I am sure I put on several pounds in the past 3 weeks, and my stomach seems to have doubled in size! Unless your doctor says otherwise, I wouldn't worry about your size and weight gain. Are you petite? Do you have a larger frame? I personally was carrying a few extra pounds to begin with, so my doctor isn't expecting me to gain as much as some other moms. And the way the babies are laying can have a big impact on your measurement, so it isn't very reliable.

    32 weeks

    18lbs gained

Belly is measuring 43 weeks (baby A is 4.6 lbs & baby B is 4.8 lbs)

I wouldn't worry too much about the weight gain as long as your OB says that the babies look good.

Thanks for the updates. It seems there are a couple of you who aren't gaining tons of weight either. I'm just going to have to quit reading those twins books that expect you to pile the pounds on. [IMG]

At the last appointment, I was exactly 31 weeks, I have gained 40 pounds, and I measured 44 weeks.

I've read that the recommendation is 40-55 lbs weight gain if you are starting from an average weight.

29 weeks and 40 pound....oh no! Maybe I am gaining too much, ugh! Last time I gained 75 with one, but have been soooo careful this time. I'm afraid I am going to get a lecture from the dr next week.

Wow, no one has gained that much weight. I am almost ashamed to write how much I have gained.

    I am almost 36 weeks.

Weight gain --- 65 lbs (I don't eat that much junk food except for pizza- yummy) My dr was not concerned with the gain because I eat healthy and didn't have any problems associated with weight gain. I will let you know how much I drop after deliver b/c I am ALL belly.

    Measuring 40+weeks

Babies weigh a lil over 7 lbs each (which can be off in the last trimester).
