    Just wondering...
I've hit the 27 week mark and noticed that there has been decreased activity level w/ my girls..now I know they are growing and running out of room, I just wanted to know if this is about where the activity level starts to slow down? I still feel them move everyday, so I have no worries, I'm just wondering! Thanks ladies :)

As long as you are still feeling them consistently that is good. If you start to go awhile with no movement I would call your OB.

I am in the same boat. The kicks a couple weeks ago were much stronger than they are now. I still feel them all the time, just doesn't seem as hard or strong. Is that kinda what you are experiencing?

Mine seemed to slow down at that stage, it's probably getting crowded in there and I think they start sleeping more. Mine are pretty quite during the day and start kicking and moving in the evening.

Yeah that's pretty much it...I guess, not as strong? It's also starting to really take a toll on my body! I can't even get dressed in the morning w/o having to sit down and take a breath. I'm debating on asking my Doctor to take me out the end of this week, rather than next week...BUT I really need that last pay!!!

the same thing started to happen to me 4 days ago.... i was used to these very strong 'kicks' up high... and now they seem to be still there but not as strong and now they are down lower... so i think Baby A has moved ..... but i still feel them, its just not as strong... only about once a day do i get a huge 'kick'

My body was doing the same thing at 27.5 weeks. The third trimester has really slowed me down.

I hear you about it starting to take a toll. I'm having really bad back problems and sciatic. I can barely walk around now. I couldn't imagine working right now. I have a hard time just making it to the bus stop to pick up my son.

what a trip! my babies definately slowed down at the same point; that's crazy that so many of us experienced the same thing. But occassionaly they get pretty powerful now! I know my baby girl has been flipping too. And she has always been more active than my baby boy for sure.

If you are ever really concerned call your doctor but I know it was the morning of my 27th week when I went in for my first NST because I didn't think the babies were moving. I hadn't felt them much the night before and then it was 11:00 the next morning and I still didn't think I felt them so I called my ob and they told me to come in. As soon as they hooked me up to the monitors they started going crazy and flipping all over. My peri came down and told me to come up to his office to do a quick u/s and they had flipped to where I just wasn't feeling them in the same spots. One was behind my placenta so I really wasn't feeling him. Also they had grown almost a full pound each in two weeks so needless to say things started getting a little cramped. They just didn't have the room to give me the real hard kicks they had before.

It is getting pretty crowded in there, so you may not have as much movement. Also, they may have shifted positions so that you just are feeling them move. They may have obstacles in their way.
