I measured around my belly and it grew 3.5 inches in 2 weeks. No wonder it is sore.

    :)

Does anyone else measure that way?

Woweee! I wish that I would have measured on my own when I was pregnant! What fun to see all that growth :good:

I haven't measured like that...but I believe it! I'm almost 21 weeks and some days I feel like my stomach might just split apart. I keep thinking how much worse it's going to get...eek! I went to put on some maternity pants I wore last week and couldn't button them around my belly. Twin pregnancies are CRAZY! I can't even fathom how it would be to carry more than 2 babies...ugh.

Your belly sure is growing nicely. :)

This weekends measurement should be interesting. I drank 2 liters of water yesterday within 4 hours and didn't have to go to the bathroom once. I figure that both liters are now amniotic fluid. We shall see. :)

Just curious...how do you measure-? Do you measure around or try to get the fundal height??

That is a big jump!! I definitely think that is why you have been sore!! Yay for growing babies!! :woo:

If I remember correctly you measure from the bottom of your pubic bone to your belly button...I think??

The doctor measures the fundal height (pubic bone to top of uterus) but I am just measuring my waist line around my belly at my belly button. I am curious to know how big around I get. :)

I do exactly the same thing... it gives me a bit of reassurance that my belly is actually getting bigger.. and that the twins are growing!!! I'm 20 weeks and I've grown about 3 inches in a week and 1/2 too!! It also helps me to know that all of these crazy pains are really just growing pains!!!
