26 week Check up

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to give an update. I had an ultrasound at 25 weeks. They are now sending me for ultrasounds every 2 weeks...or at least once a month. At my 22 wk ultrasound both babies were doing great. Baby A was noted as 23 wks along and Baby B was 21 wks along, which had me a little concerned. Baby A was just over a pound and Baby B was just under a pound.
At 25 wks they told me that the babies were now only 3 days apart in development. Baby A was 1 pd 9 oz and Baby B was 1 pd 8 oz. So, Baby B decided to grow quite a bit in those 3 weeks to catch up. they are both healthy and gaining great. The doctor also told me my weight is perfect and I shouldn't worry about it which was great to hear.
My next ultrasound is at wk 27 on June 9th so we will see how that one goes. Everything is looking good so far. Thank God because I am continuously worrying about going in preterm labour.

Sounds like we are pretty close together - my next u/s is also set for June 9 (27 weeks and 1 day). Also at 25 weeks I found out the Baby A (1 lb 13 oz) had caught up to Baby B (1 lb 14 oz).

Sounds great! Also, it sounds like we are about the same also!

Mine was Friday and they figured 25 weeks for me. 1.9 and 1.7 for them. My little baby B had a growth spurt as well.

Preterm is something I try not to think about. Keep your mind busy so you don't drive yourself insane.

i am RIGHT there with you momma! i worry about it all the time. have you gotten any FFN tests yet? or been to triage? i've gone a couple of times, had two FFN tests (both negative) and it's just because i'm paranoid about any "weird" movement, you know...especially since these are my first.

i'm glad your babies are catching up to eachother, that's great news! we had a scare like that too, it's not fun!

 

Awesome news! I'm waiting to find out when my next u/s is - very difficult to get in for them here, so I'm hoping its soon!
