26 week apt

I had my 26 week apt. and GD test today. I'm SO glad that juice didn't make me nausous like it did with the twins. Whew, I tolerated it well!

I was a bit nervous for my apt. b/c of that cramping I had Wed/Thur/Fri. Well, it's since subsided, but I have been having BH (maybe only 2-4 times a day) since that time. She said it was nothing to worry about and common in this stage of a pregnancy, especially after twins. She said the cramping was proably round ligaments and a growth spurt and the BH are normal. So, I was relieved to hear that.

I gained 5 lbs. in the last month. Not too bad...it was 3 last month, but 10 the month before that...lol! My body sure knows how to pack on the weight while I'm pregnant. So, I have gained a total of 27 lbs. in 26 weeks. I'm not SUPER happy about that, but it's WAY less than I gained with the twins so far, so I am NOT complaining. Especially with Thanksgiving and Christmas time.

BP was up, but was fine when I left. It tends to be that way when I go into an apt b/c it just makes me anxious. Same thing happened with the twins. She knows this is my "norm" LOL!

Baby's heart beat was 150 and she was totally kicking the doppler! I am measuring right on target at 26 weeks! YAY!

She asked me again if I decided on a delivery option...I told her I hadn't and my mind changes all of the time. Ha! She said if I decide a repeat C, they will schedule it for 39 weeks at my next apt. But, if I don't make up my mind unitl the very last minute, that's ok to. She is fine with not having it scheduled if I choose to have a C. So, I don't know what I'm doing yet.

Anyway, it was a good apt. and I'm relieved to have it over with. I'm ready to enjoy the holidays!

Great appointment Becky! I am not looking forward about drinking the juice. Man that stuff is gross. Hope the results are good for you! Your moving right along I am sure time is going by fast for you now!!

 

39 weeks is what mine was scheduled for as well. Then my grandma had heart surgery and the schedules conflicted, so the Dr. let me go 4 days earlier. He is so awesome!!

Sounds like a great appt. I am NOT looking forward to drinking that stuff. I had to take the 3 hour test last time, and I almost passed out I was so shaky and nauseous from that.

 

I PASSED my GD test....YAY!!! Christmas goodies WATCH OUT!

 

Sounds like all it going well, and I'm gald you passed your Glucose Test!! I was so glad when I passed my last one and didn't have to do the 3 hours one like i've always had to do.
