26 week appt

Well ladies I had my 26 week appt today and everything went well. I'm measuring right on schedule, the baby's heartbeat was good. My cerclage is holding tight and no shortening. She still thinks I need to be on bedrest, she also said at about 32 weeks she'll give me more privlages :banana: . She would like me to continue the progesterone twice a week up until 32 weeks then cut back to once a week. I have an appt in 2 weeks for an u/s for growth and CL, the Dr, performs it so it's a visit w/o a visit. She will then see me two weeks after that in the office, sooner if needed. I recieved the uterine monitor about a weeks and a half ago and it's very reassuring, I use it twice a day and the 24 hour nurse service is always there if I need to monitor in between. It makes me feel so much better to know that I'm not contracting, they have noted some irritability but nothing other than that. The baby really doesn't like the monitor, he kicks at it non-stop. I'm so glad we are moving right along, this has been the longest and shortest month mixed with so many different emotions, but most of all I feel so thankful to be expecting a healthy little boy.

 

Im glad your appt went well. Our boys are just being so funny. Kristoffer kicks the monitor everytime they try to see him or get his heart beat, nonstop. they said they are playing games with us. We will definetly have to have a florida meeting after these two are born.

Sounds like a great appointment and I'm so glad that everything is going well. I'm so happy that you're being well monitored and that everything is progressing as it should.

My little girl hates being checked out too (had a L&D visit Friday and she just kept kicking the monitor)!
