26 Braxton Hicks in the last two hours-Update

Oh boy

Another sleepless night, started noticing around 5 o'clock that I seemed to be having more BH's than usual. So I started writing them down, and they're coming every 4-10 minutes. But no pain, just these tightenings in the belly. So I ring the hospital, but as it's 7:30 am now, and I'm going to see them for an OB appointment at 9 o'clock anyway, they just want me to come in then (I swear this country is TOO relaxed sometimes)

So I just wanted to ask you to wish us luck and send us relaxing vibes, for all my whining it's just a bit too early still.

I'll keep you guys updated.

UPDATE

Well everything is fine, phew ! I was given an ultrasound and even though there is slight funneling of the cervix, it hasn't shortened more (remains 2 cm. like it has been for a month now) and even though the medstudent that was there threw herself on the top of my belly, it stayed closed. So not only am I ok, but the bedrest I've been on has been lifted a bit since there don't seem to be any more changes.

My pregnancy was rolling along so smoothly until I hit the 30 wks mark and I started having BH like crazy too. They were changing my cervix, as I am now dilated to 4 cm. But once I hit 34 weeks, they stopped. Now I am just hanging out, waiting..... I will be 36 wks tomorrow and no changes in my cervix in 2 wks, no BH, no nothing.......GO FIGURE!

 

Im glad youre going to have it checked out. 26 is a lot of contractions to be having in a short period of time. I hope everything turns out ok....and...here..is...your...vibes......
