I've been feeling some pressure and tightening for the past couple days. It was making me super nervous.... so I called the doctor's office yesterday. The phone nurse was super nice and told me to call back this morning and give an update. When I called it was a new phone nurse. She told me it's normal and didn't want to do anything. Well, after the nurse yesterday acted concerned there was no way I was taking that for a final answer.

I told her I wanted to be monitored. She talked to the Dr., called me back and told me to come in. That was a relief.

Good news - no contractions. Everything looked fine. I feel so much better. I have been a nervous wreck wondering if I was having signs of PTL.

The nurse hooking me up to the machine made me feel even more confident in my decision to be a little pushy. She said she delivered her 1st son at 25 weeks. He lived for 2 months in the NICU... but passed away. They never got to bring him home. Hearing that made me glad I went in to be monitored.

I realized that I am the only voice for my little ones. If I don't speak up - who will?

How very sad. :( Makes me realize, not that we don't know already, how very lucky I am/was with my two. :)

We do know how lucky we are. We thank God everyday for watching over them. :)

And I agree, you are the only advocate for your babies!!! Speak up, and I'm glad you did. :)

Hi Jessica! I'm glad to hear you and your twins are doing so well! Did they determine what the tightness is?
