24 weeks!

I am so happy to be at this 24 week mark- I am getting nervous though to think that they will most likely be here in the next 10-13 weeks (Doc says probably will not stop labor after 34 weeks, and won't let me go much past 37)! It is starting to go fast now! Ultrasound this week showed babies are doing good, measuring 23 weeks and 3 days and 23 weeks and 2 days, and 1 lb 7 ozs and 1 lb 6ozs! I can believe there is almost 3 pounds of baby already! They did do the transvaginal u/s (these are so much fun) and said my cervix is down from 3.3 cm to 3, but they weren't worried. My pesky little fluid pocket at the top of my cervix was still there, and looked bigger to me, but I don't know. I see doc next week, and we will see what he says about it- i am still curious about what it is! But all in all, it was nice to see the babies again, and she did verify for me that they are both girls still I am so afraid this will change, since I got rid of most of my son's baby clothes!

Congratulations!! It felt so good to reach that 24ww point!!! It sounds like the babies are a good size, too. :yahoo: Yay!!

 

That's great! What I think about most ...is the length of each one added up equals a baby at term lol.

WTG on a great apt! it's kind of surreal huh! I'm glad they girls are STILL girls and doing well. I always had my OB double check that the sex was still the same at every apt...lol!
