We had a scan the other day and we were so happy to hear that they are growing well and both have good blood flow in their cords. baby A is the smaller one breech weighing 1 pound 10 oz. and Baby B is also breech and bigger weighing 1 pound 12 oz. They don't seem worried about the 2 0z weight difference but we have to go back in 10 days for another scan. The doctor said after week 27 the risk for tts goes down althoug it can happen whenever, has anyone else heard of that?
I am meeting my midwife on the 13th so I wonder if she will schedule me in for a c-section because they are breech or do you think it is too early to tell can they still flip?

They can definately still flip around in there. :good: My two were both transverse around 25 weeks and didn't get into their final positions until 32 or so weeks. I hope they flip for you. I'm glad everything is looking good. Let us know how the u/s goes in ten days.

Mine had both been vertex, then B flipped to breech/transverse at 34 weeks (last week). I went for my 35 week appointment today and B is still breech. Irrelevant for me - I am a c-section girl regardless - just wanted to pass along the timing of the flipping ...

Good to hear they can still flip even though for some reason I just feel like a c-section is going to happen. Thanks for your replies, it's so helpful to hear about other peoples experiences.

It could go either way. My twins were in the positions that they stayed in at like 20 weeks! Baby A was breech and Baby B was transverse. They never moved.

With my current set, Baby A has been head down for a long time. But Baby B has been transverse. That's the positions they were in at our last u/s at 36w4d. We just had another u/s yesterday at 374d, and low and behold, they are BOTH head down.

Doesn't matter, I'm a repeat c-section ... but I honestly didn't think they could move this late in the game! And I was wrong! good luck!

Its WAY to early to tell what their positions will be @ time you deliver. My high risk doctor said its not until 35 weeks along that may determine their position when you deliver. Ive been going for u/s about every other week and their positions are always changing.

Mine have been breech since my 10 wk ultrasound. Then we went a month or 2 at being transverse ( ? i think this is the correct term, they were laying across my belly ) then at 26weeks they were both head down and last week one was head down, one was breech..its way too early to tell, even my OB said he wouldnt even discuss c section or natural birth until early to mid 30s

my baby b flipped sometime btwn my 35wk and 37wk ultrasound. After finding out she flipped I can tell you the exact moment it happened b/c i remember sitting and this crazy feeling happened and I said...I think this baby just flipped! Baby A flipped late in the game as well so it can happen at any time.

Good luck and I hope they flip for you.
