Everything is looking good. She did bring up the sharing of placenta, and that it well be watched. This TTS stuff is making me NERVOUS. My BP was good, babies HR were also good, although she did have to chase baby B around. I have another U/S on Sept 3rd, and my NST's start at the 32 weeks mark. I am anemic so she put me on iron supplements. Oh and gained 10 lbs!!!! AHHHHHHHHH I gained back the 4 lbs I lost and added 6 more to it. My mom keeps telling me to remember there are 2. so if there were 1 of them I might have only gained 5lbs so far. Still I feel like a cow, and I need help getting up from laying down, how sad is that??!!

Congrats on a good appointment, and keep up the eating. Try to get as much protein as you can, you're in an important growing time for your twins. I know TTTS is scary, but it sounds like your docs are monitoring things. Try to focus on the positive!

Hi. Congrats on the good appointment! Hope all continues going well! I am also 22 weeks this week and feel the HUGENESS coming on fast. I am positive I will have gained more than 10lbs this month alone. I keep getting asked by strangers if I am due any day. When I say December, they look in me in horror. ;)

I'm glad to hear things are looking good and that they are keeping a close eye on you. Don't worry about the weight. From a book I read, when pregnant with twins one should gain 21 lbs by 21 weeks. And if your doctor isn't worried, then you are okay.

Great news about your check up! Don't worry about the 10 pounds, you'll get rid of it pushing 2 wonderful and heaving babies around in a pram! :D

You might think of drinking the Boost protein drinks. My babies share a placenta and my peri suggested I drink two a day (I drink one in the morning and one at night) and I haven't had any problems with TTTS. I know TTTS is a scary thought but close monitoring is a good thing so it sounds like your doctor is taking good care of you.
