22 week apt. update

I had my 22 week apt. today. I took the girls with me this time...I found out they have a "day care" there for moms who have to bring their kids during the apt. I always saw these "day care" signs, but I always thought it was a place where like I could put my child permanently in day care and pay week by week...lol! It never dawned on me that it was for us moms...lol. They had fun there though, they found the spot with ALL the dolls and were in heaven.

As for my apt...I got in 10 minutes EARLY (which SHOCKED me). My BP was fine (I take it once a day at home b/c it's normally high at the dr office - white coat hypertension)...it's been NORMAL on my last two visits. So, she was happy with that. I only gained 3 lbs. this time. COnsidering last month I somehow gained 10 lbs. I couldn't complain. Heard the baby's heartbeat (148) and she measured my fundal height (but I forgot to ask what the measurement was...oh well). I was in and out in 15 minutes. The lady at the day care was kind of sad b/c the girls had just gotten there and they were having fun.

After the apt., the girls and I did a bit of running aorund...we picked up Christmas cards to send out and then we went to Cookie Cutters adn they both got their hair trimmed since we are doing Christmas pics next week! Then, we met DH for lunch and went home and all 3 of us took a LONG nap....lol!

 

Sounds like a great appointment, Becky! I wish my office had a day care area. I always load the girls in the stroller and wheel them in with me. They like to hear the heartbeat, though. I have my 22 week appointment tomorrow.

 

Yay for a great appointment. It sounds like the girls had fun, and that's always a bonus. Can you believe you are already 22 weeks?

 

Great appointment Becki! Thats great they have a daycare there, that would be wonderful!! I just cant believe your 22 weeks!

 

A day care for patients!?!?!!? Boy, am I jealous. I've had to bring the boys twice and it's been a nightmare.

I know! It seemed like it took FOREVER to get to 20 weeks and now it seems the last 2 weeks have flown by...I'm excited for the holidays to get here b/c I think time will go even faster. Now that I'm MORE than half-way there, I'm getting very excited to meet our little girl!

 

Great appointment! And it sounds like it was a fun day! I wish my Dr. offices had a day care too!!!!!!! Cole is still a little afraid of Dr.'s so it's hard to bring them with and I really don't have anyone to come along.

 

Yay Becky!!! That's really a great appt!! WOW! You are MORE than 1/2 way done!! It'll be just a matter of time before you are telling us how the new baby called the police on accident It's going to fly by with the holidays and such coming up!!

LOL, give me a breatk...Morgan was 11 months old when that happened...so I have a good year before we encounter that with the new baby...lol...if I'm LUCKY Thanks for the reminder
