21 weeks of bedrest and look what I got

Just a quick flyby -

But, after 21 weeks of bedrest and countless thoughts for us - it really paid off - LOOK what I got! This after dealing with TTTS - one came out kind of red from excess blood and one came out kind of pale... But both doing well. We had a scheduled c-section at 38w4d.

They are both now in the room with us. Cici was in the Special Care Nursery for most of the day because she needed some oxygen. She's now on room air and they are doing well. I am recovering ok too so far - I was bleeding too much for a while, so I'm on some meds for that, but it seems to have settled down. They had to try to get my spinal in FIVE times, which wasn't fun, but other than that, it was fine - the c-section sure is a different story than a vag delivery. I am STARVING, however. Penny is BF like a very good baby, and we'll see how Cici does tonight.

Anyway, here are a couple pics - they look axactly like Max when he was born and they definitely look identical!

Congrats Jenny - another TTTS set of miracles! :a_smil09: Mine came out the same way - one red and one pale. They stayed that way for the first month or so which made it very easy to tell them apart.
