    I am having my 20 week u/s this Wednesday and I have started a list of questions to ask but looking for your feedback, I am sure there are things I am missing. We at this point have been told they are seperate but that was all done very early on, so that still needs to be confirmed as well.

    This is what I have so far:
    * Placenta(s) look okay?
    * Cords okay?
    * Location of placenta(s)?
    * Measurements all on track?
    * Size and age of babies?
    * Fluid levels okay?

    Will they look at my cervix at this u/s?

    My main goal is to make sure all is progressing as it should be and of course to find out the sexes of the babies.

    Thanks ladies!

    Your list of questions looks good to me. I was told by Dr. DeLia ( a specialist on TTTS) to ask at every appt. about the fluid levels, length of cervix in cms, and the weight of both babies in grams. Where I go they do not do cervical measurements unless your cervix has shown changes, but they do visualize it at every scan. Do you know if your twins share a placenta? I think his questions were mainly pertaining to identicals that share a placenta, but it wouldn't hurt to find ask these questions anyway. Good luck and update us on the sex and chorionicity of the babies!! Melanie

    We do not know if there is one or two placentas.

    Every u/s I had with my girls were very thorough, especially because of the twin factor. I would assume that they will pay very close attention to all aspects of the babies. You'll probably have to ask about the sacs because they won't volunteer the info. Good luck!! Oh, shouldn't you find out the sex of the babies at this one?

    OOOHHH, good questions. Is this your 20 week morphology scan? The one that takes forever? I have mine tomorrow and have NO idea what to expect! I've been having u/s every other week but this is the biggie. Even going to a peri-natalogist.

    I didn't know until my 20 week US that I was having twins. It was quite a surprise! The US techs that we had were very informative and pretty much volunteered all of the information you have listed. She specifically asked us at the 20 week if we wanted to know the sex. We told her our doctor had told us it was a girl and that we wanted to make sure it still was....then she asked if we knew there were two! They were both girls.
