20 week u/s update

We found out we are having a boy and a girl!

But, there is a 34% disparity in their weights. Boy is 14 oz, girl is only 9 oz. They don't know why, but are concerned. I have to go back for another u/s in 3 weeks and have a fetal echocardiogram.

Has anyone had this large of a weight difference and been fine?

congrats on your boy and girl! my twin B was measuring a few days behind but he said that was in the norm-i hope yours are within the normal range too!

Congratulations on the boy girls twins… what is that… team purple ???

My twins are apart in size, and they are identical… not b/g or even frat b/b… so I THINK it’s normal (my Peri wasn’t concerned)

 

Wow! How fun!!! B/G names seem to be really neat to choose, too.

I have had differences in my identical boys' weights and the peri did not seem too concerned, either... (he was more concerned about making sure they both had a good amount of fluid).

Congrats on the b/g twins! Mine are the same way. The girl consistently measures a full week behind the boy in everything. They did send me to a level 2 u/s just to check everything out and it turned out to be fine. I bet yours will be the same way!
