We had our "20 Week" appointment and everything went really well except my systolic number on my blood pressure was high. It was 144/65. The nurse said that was a little high but they're not going to worry about it right now but they will watch it. I go every 2 weeks right now anyway. Should I be concerned about this? Otherwise, both babies look great. Our little girl was the active one today and our little boy was snoozing away. We saw him "kick" or stretch a couple times but the girl was moving around like crazy. It was nice to confirm yet again that she's a girl. :) We got a nice 3D face photo of her but the boy was facing away from the camera so we could only see the back of his head and his spine and legs so the Dr. didn't print off any shots of him. Hopefully next time! :) The DR just gave us the 1 3D of the girl and we're hoping for some good pics of both of them next time. I'm still doing really well other than the BP thing. Cervical length is still 5cm so that is good news. No progesterone shots yet! He says we're over half way there so that was exciting to hear. Their goal with twins is 36 weeks so - 16 more weeks!!!! I can do it!! :) I'm attaching our baby girl's picture. She was trying to get her hand in her mouth. It was very cute. My next appointment is Aug. 12th.

Wow, that is a great u/s picture! :) Not sure about the BP though, but I am glad they are keeping a close eye on it.

Just to be safe, I'd get a home blood pressure machine and check yourself Daily. Mine is always higher in the office. Chances are yours is much lower when you are at home and relaxed, it is good to monitor yourself anyway.

144 is a little out of "normal" range, but nothing concerning. When you are pregnant you have a lot more fluid that your heart has to pump through. Before I got pregnant my BP was always very low, and while I was preggo it went up about 20-30 points. My Dr was never concerned about it. I would just watch it and make sure that it doesn't become a problem. GL!

Thanks everyone :) I'm not horribly concerned but didn't know if I should be. :) The DR and nurse didn't seem concerned other than keeping an eye on it.

    Hi Lisa!
I'm glad all went well, I have my 20wk today (actually in about 25min)...I could use your schedule to remember mine! haha
    I'm glad your feeling well!

How's your hip and back pain? HOpe your feeling better in that dept.

As far as the every 2wk thing...i will be seeing my dr. every 2 wks (just because it's twins) and an u/s every 4wks. I like those!)
