20 week appointment

We're having two boys!!!

I'm a little in shock--and admittedly a little sad that I won't get to outfit a little girl--but very excited!!!

Baby B has some CPCs in his brain, so we have been referred to a Peri for further scanning, but really looks healthy and we think he's probably just fine. They also couldn't get a good image of all 4 chambers of baby A's heart, so we're going to have another full level II scan in two weeks!

I'll be painting blue!

 

Congratulations!!! I have both and boys are very fun too, very different but definitely fun!

Congrats!!! I was a little bummed about not "getting" one of each, but that only lasted for a bit. I am IN LOVE with my little fellas and can't picture our family dynamic any other way!

Hee hee, I was so excited about finding out they were boys, I forgot to tell y'all about the rest of the appointment!

My main concerns were:

1. my cervix--I've been having a TON of BH contractions. Cervix was totally closed and measured 4.3!!!! Woo-hoo for a big long closed cervix!
2. my blood pressure--it hasn't been below 140/85 yet this year. Today it was 110/75--I was beyond thrilled!

So, all in all, good news. I am also glad to be referred to a peri--it will be nice to have two sets of eyes looking at me.

Oh, and my weight is still down from pre-pregnancy, but I have gained 6 lbs since my 16 week appointment, so I didn't get yelled at.

Congratulations on 2 boys! My DS had a CPC at my 20 weeks u/s too and it was gone at my 22 week u/s. I wish you all the best in the rest of your pregnancy!

Yeah for boys! They are awesome - you'll love it once you get passed the idea of not being able to dress them in pink. If they're anything like mine, they'll be Momma's boys and anytime they're asked for a hug or kiss, it's only for mommy - if daddy asks for one, they'll find me and give me one. Kinda humerous but it makes me feel so wonderful. Boys are a great joy and now that they're walking - there's somethign new I learn around every corner. You'll love it. I wouldnt change it for the world.

Congratulations! That is so exciting! I hope everything is alright with baby B. I always *think* I am having boys. We'll see this time!

 

Congrads on the 2 boys! We had to go back also for the 2nd sono of Baby A's heart just b/c of the position and the baby not cooperating...Everything was find 2nd go around...Good luck!
