2 weeks from today....

It is all hitting me that within the next 2 weeks, the twins will be here!! I have a c section scheduled for 2/27, which will make me 38w 3d. Don't get me wrong, I am very excited to meet the twins, but I am sad at the first time. This is #3 and #4 for us so we are done. I am very sad that I won't get to experience a pregnancy again. I love my big belly, even if my ribs hurt all the time. I love my big belly, even though my legs are really swollen and I have carpal tunnel that prevents me from sleeping. I think I could really be pregnant forever!!! On the flip side, I can hardly wait to introduce the twins to our son and daughter. Our kids are 3 and 5 and very excited about the twins. They are super close to each other and I look forward to them being close to the twins as well. Ahh, to think that I will be the momma to 2 boys and 2 girls in just 2 weeks, sends me over the edge with excitement.

Thanks for letting me get a little sappy. Thanks for all the support these past 36w. I have lurked here all day, every day and have learned so much from you great ladies!!! I can't believe I am at the end already. I can remember all of the details on the day that I found out we were being blessed with 2...it seems like just yesterday :icon_biggrin:

Wow, you really are close! I think the sappy stuff is perfectly normal. I wish you luck and look forward to hearing about a safe delivery and healthy babies!

That is great you are so close This is the last for us too...my 3rd and 4th ....so I know what you are saying. No matter how hard pregnancy is, many things to miss about it.

Stacy, that is so sweet! You should print it out and put it somewhere for safe keeping. Can't wait to read your birth story in a couple months.

Congrats! Best wishes for the delivery. This is only #1 and #2 for us and I think we are done... :lol: ...this twin pregnancy is too stressful for us...LOL
