2 weeks from today...

We will finally find out who the boys' teachers are! Also, sometime around then, we should get info about their soccer teams. So much happening in the next few weeks!

 

We are supposed to find out in the next week, but I've got an 'in'. Holly's teacher last year is on my FB list and she let me in on the secret...She has Cassie this year (boy is she in for a surprise after having Holly for a year!), and she also told me who Holly has. It really didn't make much difference to us this year, althougth I am glad to know that Mrs. W will be at their new school with Holly, I think it will help her with the transition.

We are gearing up towards Girl Scouts this year, but neither of the girls seem to show more than a slight interest in sports (other than cheering) yet.

 

In two weeks, my kids will have their first day of school. We haven't officially found out the teacher, but have unofficially. Their school was combined with another last year for remodeling and this year is separating back out. The secretary told us at registration that the school only got assigned one K teacher. It's the same one whose classroom the kids visited back in May so we're happy. I'm also happy I requested they stay together. If I had requested separate, I would have had one in morning K and one in afternoon K, and with no busing, that would have been a very long year.

Next week is the big week for us!

Monday afternoon is a "kindergarten meetup" hosted by one of the moms.

Monday night is parent night at Kevan & Karina's preschool.

Tuesday morning is drop-in orientation for Kevan & Karina.

Wednesday morning is drop-in day for Nadia's kindergarten.

Thursday is Nadia's first official day of school, in uniform, with carpool line. There is a "Coffee and Kleenex" for moms after drop-off.

Thursday is ALSO Kevan & Karina's first official day of preschool, albeit a shortened day.


Not to mention, ballet/tap class is starting this week, and keyboard (Nadia) and music class (K&K) start next week. We're also continuing oral motor therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, and hyperbaric therapy for Kevan.

I'm starting to wig out a little.

 

We will oficially know next Monday when they will post the class lists outside the school building, but Ethan and Isaac's teacher from last year told me that she is teaching the 3rd grade this year and will have our boys again ( I am SO happy about this - she is a wonderful teacher).
I can't believe that school starts next week!

 

We find out at the end of this week. School is two weeks away. The kids have camp this week, but I hope the weather holds next week so we can squeeze in a few more fun days of swimming and biking!

 

We don't start until the day after labor day (the 8th I think???), but I called today and they told me that letters would be sent out on the 20th, so we won't find out for another 2 weeks or so. I'm anxious to find out though.

 

Looks like the news will come sooner than I thought. I got a call from the school that they were mailed out today, so we should get the assignments before we leave for vacation tomorrow!
