I have two Peg Perego Arias for when I am out with someone else and I love them. Do the Bugaboos take up a lot of space or are they heavy? That would be my only concern (other than cost). You could also look into the type of tandem strollers where the seats can be positioned different ways. And then put them back to back!

We had umbrella strollers that we occasionally used but we're tall and they were uncomfortable for us to push. So, mostly we used the double stroller. But, if having them together is causing you stress I would get the single strollers.

I have a double aria, a tandem, and 2 seperate umbrellas with connectors. They are good when I am with DH (or someone that can push them), and if I have them then I use the connectors...its not that bad getting through doors, esp if someone is there to hold it open...;) But the umbrellas, they can get in and out of (If I ask them to get in and out) and they are separated more. The aria sometimes they will hit, but sometimes I have luck...

    Good luck on your decision!

Fighting was one of many reasons why I preferred my tandem stroller to the side-by-side. With both girls having access to each other the fighting was ridiculous and it was hard to control them. At least in the tandem I only had to control one baby ;) . I have two cheap umbrella strollers for the times when there were two of us to push the babies. Surprisingly, it was nowhere near as often as I thought it would be. It was just more convenient to use a double. If I were you, I'd try a couple of cheaper single strollers or even a tandem double (or the Sit N Stand model) before getting expensive Bugaboos. Good luck!

I have a side by side for when I'm by myself and I have two cheap umbrella strollers for when I'm with another person (mom, dh, etc.) The boys don't necessarily fight in the stroller but I just find it easier to manuever. I have thought about getting more expensive single strollers just so they would be more comfortable, but I haven't wanted to spend the money. Plus the umbrella stollers don't take up much room and they are really light.

I have two single umbrella strollers that we use more then we use the double stroller. I got a couple at baby's r us that were about $40 each because they were tall enoguh to use and not have to bend over. I am looking for a new side by side because they dont fit very well in the tandem one I have.
