My boys are almost 6 weeks old (10 pounds each) and DH will be back to work when they turn 2 months. We have more of a routine than a schedule, but we do the same thing every day.

I am wondering what everyone is doing.

Here is what we do as our routine. Times vary by a little bit, but they are the same.

Eating 5oz of formula at every feeding. They eat every 3-3.5 hours throughout the day. However, at night I let them wake us up which is about 3-4 hours.

    7ish feed
8ish downstairs for tummy time and play (they are usually awake until the next feed and they can fall asleep if they want too)
    10ish feed
    11ish play/sleep
    1ish feed
    2ish play/sleep
    4ish feed
5is play/sleep (they are usually awake until the next feed)
    7ish bath/feed
8ish bed (their crib in their own room)
    11/midnight feed
    2 feed
    5 feed

Anywhoo, just seeing what others do and if I am doing what I am supposed to do.

I ordered the HSHHT book and I cannto wait for it.

    Thanks for the info,
    Jenn

My schedule now at 11 weeks looks just like yours, only my twins now sleep through the night. They started STTN at around 8 weeks. Yay! I read HSHHC and am anxiously awaiting HSHHT to make sure I'm doing everything right!

Ours were STTN at 8 weeks as well, so the only routine that we really had at night was bottle, bath, bed. During the day i pretty much just went with their flow and they were eating every 3 -4 hours and would not have very much awake periods, so it was alot of eat & sleeping then. We are now kinda falling into a daily routine as far as daily naps and play time goes

    sorry im not much help.

Mine were eating every 2-3 hrs, 4-6 oz bottles during the day. They started sleeping thru the night around 10 wks or so, at least 5-7 hrs. I didn't have set times for anything so if they went to bed late, they slept late. If they napped long in the afternoon it pushed all their feedings around :)

I'm just now starting to get into a routine and can almost predict when they are going to eat....altho they do occassionally nap too long still! :p

Mine did not have a schedule at 2 months. (They don't really have one now at 4 months either). At 2 months they were eating every 2-3 hours (breastfeeding). They would take naps in the living room whenever they felt like it. I am working on developing a schedule now. Sorry, I'm not much help. Hopefully it will come as they get older. If you bottlefeed, it might be easier to have a schedule.

Mine were eating every 3.5-4 hours, and about 4-5oz each. They were on 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm bath then bed, 11pm dream feed. DS would wake at that age at around 5am for a bottle but he´d dropped it by 2.5 months or so. DD wwould usually go through to 7am but occasionally wake anywhere between 5-7am. Sounds like yours are right on track!

New to the community.... and trying to figure out everyone's codes. What is the actual title of the book hshhc? Everything is new to me so any little bit of help would be greatly appreciated. I will figure all of these abbreviations out one day.

    Thank You.

Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child by Weissbluth. There is a twins version coming out next week I think. Link below.

At 2 months, my girls had little or no schedule other than feeding every 2-3 hours. Now at 3 months they are sleeping through the "night" (3am-9am) and taking random naps during the day. I am desperate to get them to bed earlier, but it is nice to be able to sleep in a bit in the morning.
