Right now I'm registered for 2 boppies... but wondering if I should rethink that and get one of those EZ 2 nurse twin pillows. I want to breastfeed my babies... and don't know if 2 boppies would work quite right? Anyone with suggestions?

Right now I'm registered for 2 boppies, but wondering if I should get one of those EZ 2 Nurse twin pillows. I want to breastfeed my babies... these are my first children, so I'm completely new to the whole thing. Will 2 boppies even work at the same time? Any suggestions from someone who's been there?

I would suggest the one ez2nurse pillow. I think it is worth the $$! But, I can't imagine even using one boppy. Couldn't figure it out. If you plan on nursing both of them together (helps supply & cuts the time) it is worth the money!

I think lots on here recommend the twin pillow....personally I think it looks humongous, I have a "My brest friend" pillow and it's a good bit smaller, but bigger than a boppy, and I'm going to use it :)

I think 2 boppy's would be awkward to hang on to, as well as babies! The my brest friend one has a strap that goes around your waist to keep it from sliding off. Nice feature! :D

I had great plans to nurse my twins, that didn't work out in the end so I ended up pumping and supplementing. I still have my ez2 nurse pillow in its packaging, and ended up using (and loving) 2 boppy pillows. I would get the boppies anyway, as although they really aren't going to work for breastfeeding 2 babies at once, they are great to have just to prop your little ones up in. I bought mine when the babies were 2 weeks old, and I honestly wish I had them from day one.

For the EZ2 nurse pillow, even though I didn't get to use it, I can easily see how it would really be the best option (vs boppies for breastfeeding). Its big, but remember babies grow quickly :)

I have two boppy's; they are pretty helpful just to keep baby in, they provide support like if you want to rest one on the couch after feeding while you are finishing up the other one. She used it for a little bit of tummy time in the early stages--good value especially if you find some used in excellent condition.

This may sound like overkill but I have 2 boppy's and an ez2nurse (but no babies yet..heh heh). I thought the boppys would be great for propping them up individually and if my husband and I are home at night and each holding one. The ez2nurse is bigger but boy is it comfortable. I am going to attempt tandem breastfeeding and I can't imagine any of the others offering as much support after trying them out. I think the most comparable is definitely the my breast friend. I got my ez2nurse off of craigslist for 15 bucks - I see them on there all the time.

Oh sorry I should clarify that I do have boppy pillows too, to prop babies in, but don't intend to use them to nurse :) I'm a very large boobed lady and the boppy didn't even work nursing my first child, I know it won't work for nursing two :p

Ok for another angle, I use a regular boppy pillow to tandem nurse my girls in an oversized recliner. Works great for us from the first day to today. I do have two they are great to let baby lay in all the way to learn how to sit to learn how to crawl over. Worth having two. Never used an EZ2 nurse pillow but hear great things. GL

One option is to add velcro to the ends of the boppy covers to connect them. Worked for us.

I could not use a Boppy for tandem. Not sure about the Breast Friend. I love the EZ 2 Nurse Twin pillow (foam). My babies are just over 2 months and I can't imagine them fitting on anything else. I love the Hands Free aspect.

I used the Anna Double nursing pillow. Loved it- it clips on and has plenty of room for 2 babies (used until 13 months).
I am going to use it this next time around, too.
