My guys started Pre-K today and I'm please to report it was a successful day! They were smiling when I left and smiling when I picked them up. They will be going 2 1/2 hrs, five days a week. Going to take some getting used to!! As much as I've been looking forward to this day of some "me" time, now I have to actually adjust to it! They are in separate classes, per the school's policy, but they do get to see each other on the playground. They seem fine with it:) I'm so proud of my guys! Hope everyone else has had a good 1st day, too:)

Enjoy your "me" time! My girls are moving from 3 hours 2x a week to two full days. But what I noticed is I'm spending the time cleaning, organizing, shopping, cooking etc. Make sure you are using at least one day for drinking coffee slowly while reading or watching some TV!! Those 2.5 hours go by quickly!

Mine start Pre-K on Monday. But it's only a change in facilities (and more structured learning), they'll still be going full time five days a week.

so glad it went well! we started this week too, first time really away from home and they did great, though are quite tired every day! (they are going 4 hrs a day!) wow, glad they did great and were separated. we've got ours in the same class, seems to get going great.
