1st Birthday presents

We are planning the big "1" Birthday Bash!

In anticipation I ordered the babies birthday gifts! None of the stores in my town carry toddler furniture so Im pretty excited to have found these chairs!

What do you all think?

What did you get your LOs for their 1st birthday?

Also, birthday invitees have begun asking me what to bring (toy/clothes wise) I need ideas!!!

 

Those are cute! My two got a wagon and a picnic table for their first bday.

 

Mine each got a Winnie the Pooh ride on/push toy. They still ride them.

Ride on toy if you don't have it already - the boys love their firetruck. They also love the Little People stuff, especially the farm. They got a rocking giraffe that they play on quite a bit. Books are good at that age too. Their big present (birthday and Christmas) from Mamaw was their swing set for outside. Other ideas - bath toys, cars, blocks, megablocks, kitchen, or ballpit.

Pretty chairs. I would suggest push toys, ride on toys, BUSY ZOO, baby dolls in stroller (we have b/g twins in SBS) and any other interactive games for 12+. GL!

We got them a zoo membership. I figure they are getting enough toys from everyone else. No one has really asked us what to get, so no advice there.

 

For mine I have a ride on toy, a rocking toy, the playskool ball popper thing and the little people farm (used). Sadly I just don't think I have the space to actually give them the first two for now, lol. I got them a kind of little couch also (the foam ones you find at toys'r us).

I agree with pp about the ride on and push toys. If they are opting to buy clothes, I would suggest some spring items, just a little bigger than what they are wearing depending on who makes it and the size they wear now. (IMO you can never have enough clothes)

 

Chairs are ADORABLE!

We are getting the girls a wagon with seatbelts and not sure what else. I do love that Parent Busy Zoo from Target - I did see that there and loved that - forgot about that. That's an idea. I'm going to tell MIL to get them some pink high top Converse sneakers (love these) and she is also getting them gift cards for clothes later. My mom is going to get them a couple of toys and then money for their savings account.

 

I found these ATV power wheel ride on toys, they got pretty good reviews I put them on my wish list. Since my babies b-day is in May, I really wanted outside things.
these are the things that I put on the wish list:
-summer clothes
-little tykes swing castle w/ slide
-a sand and water box
-picnic table
-the ride on toys
-a sprinkler splish splash water mat
- a doodle pro

and some other small items as well that I can't think of. I am looking for a ball pit to put on there also.

I would get a ride on toy if you dont already have one
anything little people is excellent for 1+
def a wagon for spring/summer/fall!
look for table top toys-ie leapfrog learining activity centers/fisherprice ball play gyms/busy body toys =anything they can manipulate

Outdoor toys; picnic table- teeter tauter- slide- water table

ride on toys- they loved these. They each had one
Parents Brand- ball/hammer - they loved this and still do!

 

Those chairs are adorable. Great choice.

We bought the girls a Ball Pit/Jumper for outdoors and DH and I each wrote a letter to each of the girls regarding their 1st Year. I haven't read what DH wrote nor vice versa. But we are looking forward to do the same thing for their 2nd Birthday and then reading each letter to them when they turn 5.
