Just wondering what some people are thinking or have done for B/G twins. Did you do something neutral or something for each one?

We did the zoo for the first birthday. One party, one invite - two cakes (one with monkeys and one with elephants; white and chocolate).

I did a neutral theme, something they both liked for their 1st and 2nd b-days. Their first birthday was Winnie the Pooh and second was Yo Gabba Gabba. Since their birthday is around the holidays (and we have a small home) we only invite close family, so it's usually just food and chit chat and the kids like to be entertained by the family.
Good luck with your party planning!

We had a prince/princess theme. For our cake, I had someone design a castle on top of a sheet cake. It looked pretty cool.

For the boys first, I did blue and green colors. And for Annabella's, I did pink and purple. If I had b/g, I would probably do the same-like blue/purple or blue/pink, etc. And for Annabella, I just picked out a few pink decorations and the same with the boys. There was no theme per se. For their second birthday, I did Sesame Street. It's pretty neutral.

Have fun planning! We had big parties, so for me to do a commercialized theme, would have cost a fortune! And I like the way the colors came out. The plates, napkins, silverware, and cups. If the napkins were blue, the string to tie them was green and vice versa. I went a little crazy! :)
