1st appt moved to 12/17

So the OB office got back to me today and I am scheduled for an appt Dec 17 instead of Jan 3. I will be 8 weeks then. I am so happy not to have to wait until the new year to have my appt. Hopefully we will be able to hear the HB. Last time I heard the HB at 7.5 weeks, and didn't find out it was twins until my 19 weeks at my first US! They said they will do a US at my first appt, to be sure there is just one baby in there. They have an US in the office. Can't wait!

 

Oh yeah!!! I'm glad it got moved up to a sooner date. It's great too that they have a U/S in the office for a quick count look, my Dr. had the same setup. It was nice to know right away the count, but I did make him check the next 3 visits too.

I'm glad they moved it up for you, but don't always believe the early U/S. I had one at 11 weeks with my twins and they saw only one baby. It wasn't until the U/S at 21 weeks that we found out it was twins. The doc claims it is only one this time, but I won't believe until the next U/S.
