    Hi
I was wondering what I can do or if this is normal for them eating alllll day? I mean they eat usually good 3 meals a day but its like non stop snacking in between especially Alex. They are little low on weight so I dont want to not let them eat .. I give healthy snacks just wondering if this is a fase ..
Also, is it just me or is it really hard to keep your kids together? Everytime we step out of the house, the kids are gone.. Ones running this way the other is running that way..
    Thanks alot misty

Its normal in my house too. Jack constantly eats. He has his three meals a day and snacks in between ALOT. I find the running away fron each other quite frustrating cause you are like oh crap which one do i go for first?! My friend who has one kid the same age as mine and he walks nicely does as he is told! Mine are like eh no mum im off! x

I was going to post the same question. It must be something with the age. You know, this is the time when their minds kicks into high gear and the word explosion happens and they are starting to figure more and more things out so maybe we need to feed their minds?? My grandma used to tell me to eat a snack before a test because I need "brain food." I feel like they are constantly telling me "eat?" "eat?" and sometimes I tell them "No, we just ate." because we did like only an hour or 2 ago and my girls are on the heavier side (90% for weight) so I'm afraid to let them get too out of control. But I guess as long as we keep the snack healthy then it can't hurt too much.

I try to keep set schedules as for when they eat to avoid ""grazing". They have 3 meals and in between, a snack. I try to make sure they are full at each one and they never seem to want anything in between except water. I do bring snacks when we go out since it helps keep the peace, but other than that, I am pretty confident they stay full all day.

Maybe yours are going through a growth spurt.

As for the running in opposite directions...we have that and it really limits where we go when I have them alone. At this point, we can't safely do parks so we play in our fenced backyard a lot.
