As stated in my previous post, I was not at all satisfied with the generic diapers I bought at BRU...So Im going to have to suck it up and pay a little more for the diapers I actually like. I just can't put cardboard diapers on my babies, I know I would not want to wear such a thing! So my question is has anyone ever used 1800diapers.com? They are cheaper than BRU but are they the best deal?? TIA!

Hey is your avatar pic of your girls from Babies R Us studio?? Just curious, I have one of my twins and it looks like that and I got them done there!! Cute!

I use diapers.com also. As long as you spend over fifty and get the free delivery-- it is the same price as everywhere else. I have found that diapers are pretty much the same price everywhere UNLESS you catch a deal somewhere. Sams Club has good deals for sure!! I'm into the diapers.com thing tho cuz it's soooo easy!

I have purchased all our diapers on 1800diapers.com (now just diapers.com)since my babies were born (over 1.5 years). I LOVE this website! The prices are great, I save money by not paying taxes, and shipping is free. I always get my order within a week. They also have a program now where you get a percentage of your order back as a credit to use on a future purchase.

I got a giftcard for Christmas from diapers.com and am very pleased with their service, I ordered on a Tuesday and it arrived on Thursday. Also the prices were pretty darn cheap, I may order from there from now on, saves me a trip out. I was buying them at Sam's club before, that's where we get formula.

I get mine from diapers.com also. It's easy and saves me a trip out. The diapers are cheaper but we found formula to be cheaper at Sams Club.

There was an article in Wall Street Journal last fall about how Diapers.com has THE best prices on the internet. I've been super happy with their delivery speed and with not having to drag the babies to BRU every time I run out of diapers. I've started to buy other stuff there, too, because it's so convenient (aquaphor, pacifiers, the occasional can of formula).

I've looked at diapers.com and it's really neat, but I think at least here, the WalMart prices are better! Plus, WalMart is on my husband's way home from work so I can avoid the trip to the store with 4 kids!! My dad has actually said he's going to supply diapers for the year for both me and my SIL who is also pregnant. I'm not sure if that's going to come in the form of diapers or money, but WOW! What a relief!

I just placed my order for newborn diapers from 1800diapers.com. The accept coupons (you have to mail them in first- and then they add them to your account) and right now they are having a sale on certain brands and they were $3 cheaper per box than anywhere else I found. With no tax, and delivery to my door- it can't be beat!

I LOVE diapers.com! Why? Prices are great, free shipping on 50.00, 5% back on 75.00, they take Manufacturers coupons & Keep track pf them! No more wasted cupons... just mail them in & they automatically apply them! I always forget either the date or to bring the coupon so this is great! I will say that Sam's does have great deals too,but you have to go to them! As an FYI Swaddlers 1-2 box of 216 @ Sam's is 38.00 a box lasts about 2 weeks. Also diapers.com will give you a cost per diaper which is the only way to know for sure the lowest price! So @ Sam's Swaddlers 1-2"s are .18 each & at diapers.com they are .23. Of course factor in you coupons and $ back...

I have never tried diapers.com, but wanted to pass on some information that I found. I found a web-site in one of parenting magazines a few months back called babycheapskate.com. The women who runs it is from Atlanta and it is her daily blog on ways to find the best deals on baby stuff. I have found her entries very helpful in saving money on all sorts of baby/toddler products. Using diaper sales (her web-site lists them every week) and coupons, she recommends not paying more than the following amounts per diaper:

    Size N: 15-16 cents/diaper
    Size 1: 13-15 cents/diaper
    Size 2: 16 cents/diaper
    Size 3: 20 cents/diaper
    Size 4: 23 cents/diaper
    Size 5: 25 cents/diaper
    Size 6: 30 cents/diaper

I keep this guideline in my blackberry and only buy diapers when I can get them for that price. I have found what I think is a good deal because stores are having a sale, isn't. I don't have to search too hard either so it isn't a lot more work for me. I thought I would pass it on.

I have bought from there before and have been really happy. They deliver really fast. I now buy my diapers from Costco, they are cheaper there for me.

I too hate the cheap diapers. I have spent some time finding the lowest price for each size hoping to stock up during sales. Diaper.com is the same as stores as long as you get free shipping. If you hit sales at Target you can get them for about 4-5 cents less per diaper. But with gas and your time my DH is quick to point out home delivery is the way to go.

BTW - I got a TON of coupons from Huggies and Pampers by calling and saying we have twins. Huggies were $5 off coupons and pampers free coupons!!!

We use the higer end ones at night when we don't change them as often and the cheaper version of the name brand during the day. I found Luvs to be the cheapest prices.

I really liked 1800diapers when we were using pampers, they really are a little cheaper especially because we have to drive at least 40 miles to shop, and the shipping on those diapers are free, so we can rule out gas $$. BUT I think we are now going to start stocking up on Target brand diapers, they are cheaper and we can get by with generics now that the girls are a little bigger and the messes are not runny.

ps... my girls hardly pee at all at night now that they are sleeping through w/out a feeding so we dont need super leak protection at night or any time really. If you have a 'super pee pee baby' I wouldnt do generics.

ETA: we also buy our baby soap, lotion, wipes and some meds on Diapers.com also (when I do make an order) because it helps get us up over the $75 mark for the most savings AND I dont have to drive to get that stuff either.

We've been really happy with diapers.com so far. I use them for diapers that we have a hard time finding in the stores (Huggies Overnights). We also buy wipes from them. They sent me the wrong package of diapers one time and when I called they said I could keep that package for free and they would overnight me the correct order. I was pretty pleased with the customer service.

We also used huggies overnights for a short time and Diapers.com was the ONLY place we could find them.

We buy our diapers at Costco and I haven't found diapers cheaper elsewhere. Their huggies are actually cheaper per diaper than their own store brand.
