16 week scan

What's the liklihood of determining genders at my 16 wk us tomorrow. Will actually be 15 wk 6 days...any thoughts or experiences??

we tried at 15wks and some days and it was practically impossible. if your getting a higher level u/s and the babies cooperate then you may have better luck

 

wanted to add I had my gender scan with my last one at 14 weeks 6 days and we got it... after 2 hours... but we got it. :banana:

 

Oh my goodness! Well I really hope to not be laying there for 2 hours!! LOL! I have scans every 2 weeks and the tech always switches on the 3D/4D for me. Does that mean it is a higher level US? I suppose I won't hold my breath. I am anxious to get crib and bedding ordered!!

 

Sounds like a good chance to me if the machine is 3d/4d it is a better grade than what many regular obs have in thier office. They told me A was a girl at 13 weeks and B was a boy at 15w2d.

 

I think you'll have a very good chance of seeing the gender, but like pp said, as long as the babies are cooperating. Good luck!! :Clap:

 

You have a very good chance, even with a 2d. (as long as the babies cooperate!) We found out via 2d u/s at just over 13 weeks and confirmed it a few weeks later.

 

We found out both genders (they could easily tell!) at 15 weeks on the nose. I was worried they might be wrong so early so I asked again at every u/s lol, but here they are in my arms now my beautiful baby A boy and baby B girl!!!

As long as they cooperate they could probably tell what the genders are. :good: At 13w I was told that they "thought" Baby B was a boy because it looked a little thick between the legs. I took it with a grain of salt at that point though. Then at 17w3d we confirmed that A was a girl and B was a boy, so they were right at 13w. :good:

We were told at 16 weeks that A was 100% boy, and B was 85% certain to be a boy. Both boys! Yayyyy!!

Yeah, Baby A? The 100% boy? Yeah, that's Alice. We found out at the 20 week ultrasound.

 

We found out both our babies were girls at my 17 week u/s and baby B was measuring 16 weeks 4 days and A was measuring 15 weeks 2 days so it's definitely possible!! Good luck!
