15 month wbv

We went a few weeks ago for the girls' 15 month wbv and vaccinations. Turned out they both had ear infections so they didn't get shots. Went through the antibiotics and everything... So we go back today and Hannah's ears are all cleared up Hailey's however are not. Last time it was just one ear, now they are both pretty infected. Poor thing is miserable. I was worried this was the case because over the weekend she got VERY irritable and kept pulling at her ears... I was hoping it was teething. So, because she wasn't running any fever, they gave her her shots plus a shot for the infections (since the antibiotics apparently didn't work) She has to go back Thursday to get checked again and get another shot I feel horrible for my poor baby. She's snoozing now, so hopefully she is relaxed.
Ugh, hope she gets better this time!

 

:hug: I am so sorry you are going through this! We went through this in March-April of both 2008 & 2009. I hate ear infections. Those shots work really fast to improve their ears, though, so I am hoping she is feeling better right away!!

What is the shot for ear infections? I have never heard of it.

Yea, I can't remember the name of it... I have it written down in my car so I won't forget what the tell them I'm there for, lol. I have a horrible mind for remembering specific names of things. Antibiotic is much easier!
