    Hello everyone,

I have not posted in quite awhile because I went back to work fulltime in August as a teacher. I miss the little ones and am trying to figure out a way to stay home and make a little extra cash on the side. On to business . . .

Can you please share your 15 month sleep schedule? Mine still seem to need 2 naps. However, I don't know when to let them nap the longest. Should I allow the first nap to go as long as they would like or wake them to keep a good second nap. Please advise!

    TIA!

Hi! My girls are right around the same age.

They get up at 7am eat/play and then nap around 9:30am. I let them sleep til they wake up usually by 11am. Some days they go down for a 2nd nap around 2pm and sleep for 1.5 -2 hours. That varies though, sometimes they stay up ther for an hour and don't sleep at all. They go to bed around 6:30/7pm.

Mine are almost 16 months and have the following schedule:
    6:00-6:30am Wake
8:00-8:30am Nap #1 - usually around an hour
    1:00/2:00 Nap #2 - usually about 2 hours
    7:30/8:00pm Bedtime

Every once in awhile they do not want nap #1 so we may be getting to the point where they drop it altogether soon. We have only woken them up from a nap once - it went past 3 hours! Other than that, we let them sleep.

Monday through Friday it's up at 0500 and they nap from 12-2 at school and are in bed asleep by 7pm.

Saturday and Sunday it's up at 0500 and they will nap at aroun 0930 for about an hour or so and also have one around 1200 for an hour and it's beddy-bye by 7pm as well.

They are also GREAT sleepers...once they are out they are out...

At 15 months this was our schedule:

    7:30 wake up
    7:45-breakfast
    9:30-11:30-nap
    12:00-lunch
    1:30-3:15-nap
    3:45-snack
    5:30-dinner
    7:30-bed

I could not let mine sleep later than 3:15 because I have to leave then to get their big sister from school. We went down to one nap at 17 months.

We actually are pretty much on one nap, but here is the schedule.

    7:00-8:00 - Girls wake up
10:30 - yogurt and Total snack
    11:00 - Nap
1:45-2:30 - Girls wake up (The nap is usually at least 2 1/2 hours)
    Lunch after nap
    7:30 - Girls in bed

If they had a bad night due to sickness or teething and they are SUPER cranky then they get a nap at 9 and then another 3 to 4 hours from when they wake up.

Stephanie! I have wondered about you! I hope you will be able to work out something and be with your babies more! :hug99:

We are on one nap. They just won't do two anymore. Anyway I will throw our schedule in...
    7 wake
    8 breakfast
    1030 lunch
    11 nap-130
    230 snack
    5 dinner
    630 bed

At 15 mos mine were still on 2 naps. One shorter morning nap and a longer afternoon nap.

Then at 17 mos mine went from a nanny to a daycare and had to go to one nap. They did fine with it but I had to move bedtime up b/c they were so exhausted. Now bedtime is slowly getting a little bit later since they have had time to adjust.

They take their 1 nap at daycare from 11:30-2:30(sometimes they go down a little earlier I think) but at home I try to keep them up til almost 1 so they will get a nice long afternoon nap. Then we can go out and do more on Saturdays and Sundays, plus stay up a little later.
