I give my girls formula in sippies with each meal, but I intentionally offered it cold right off the bat (for transition to milk). They take it cold, no problem at all. In fact, I think one of them prefers it that way. We really only take the chill off their bottles, not make them warm.

One of mine is cruising and walks behind her push toy very well. I swear she'll be walking on her own before 12 months. The other one is still pretty content just to watch her sister. She'll figure it out eventually.

Gosh I need to get on it [IMG] My DD has just now got the hang of drinking out of the sippy DS caught on along time ago. I have been waiting on her and now I need to start them on formula in sippies.
    Thanks for reminding me [IMG]

Mine are cruising pretty good the way it looks now...DD will be the first to walk [IMG]

11 months (just barely) and not drinking anything from sippies. We try it at each meal, but their primary use right now is teething toy/launch out of the highchair toy. [IMG]

Gabe is great at drinking from the sippy, but I put juice (very watered down) in them. I wanted to encourage them by putting something yummy in them first [IMG] He is always the first to seek out my 2yo chocolate milk! He LOVES that! [IMG] He is also getting pretty good at drinking from the straw, but makes a big mess because he hasnt really coordinated suck, swallow - he sucks, dribbles!

Nate has no interest in it. He'll pick it up but doesn't try very hard to drink it.

My girls get 2 sippy cups a day. They are nursing 3 times. The first one is 1oz apple juice w/ 4oz water & the second is 5oz of vanilla Silk. They are pros at drinking from those throw-away sippy cups. I'm counting down the days until they are one & weaned!

Sippy cups are not doing well in my house. The girl's hate them. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

we are just starting to introduce sippy cups here, Colton didnt like it at first, DH went and bought him one with the soft rubber sippy, instead of the hard plastic. Adalyne is way farther behind and it will be a while yet. Not giving up, she still wont drink from a bottle, shes on a feeding tube yet. we will see what happens.

My guys have done sippies with water since 6 months- we just started playing around with formula or diluted juice in them at lunchtime. I think they like water in them best! They do 3 bottles of formula a day.
On the walking topic. Both my little guys love to be standing and can stand on their own holding on to something... both will also walk holding both our hands. Jack even pulled himself up to standing yesterday for the first time!! My daughter started walking at 8 1/2 months- so it could happen soon for us- Even so, I think we have a ways to go for the walking thing...
