Samantha had diarrhea and diaper rash for over 12 days. today really bad and watery. This am she woke with a 103 temp. DH took her to Drs. We've been giving tylenol every 4 hrs. temp now 103.4. She drank some pedialyte. refuses milk. barely ate anything today. She's miserable.

any advice to share? anything else i can do? at what point to i call drs office again or go to ER (hopefully not)? thx.

Has she had rota virus? The symptoms sound like rota.
Take her in. Small children can dehydrate very quickly.

I agree with pp. She is really young to have such severe symptoms and it's best to be safe than sorry. I hope she is better soon. :hug99:

I agree with pp. Sounds like the rota virus to me too. I hope you can keep it all together. I read you don't feel the best either. Good luck, keep us posted.

Please take her in and insist that they figure out what's going on. I'm pretty sure that having such symptoms for such a long time is not good. Please let us know how she is doing and please make sure you get yourself taken care of as well. I know you are not well and the only way you can be 100% for your kids is to be 100% yourself, kwim? I'll be thinking of you and your sweeties. Keep us posted.

It also sounds like Rotavirus to me, and they can dehydrate very quickly with that particular virus. I would take her in.
