Hello! My girls just turned 10 months yesterday. I have a few quick questions that I do not know what to do about. . . please share what you did or are doing. Thanks!

    1. How many bottles per day?

    2. How much formula?

    3. When do we go to just one long nap a day?

    4. What do your kiddos do all day?

    5. What are some good table/finger foods to give them?

    Again, I appreciate any advice.

HERE IS WHAT OUR SCHEDULE LOOKED LIKE:
    6:30 WAKE UP AND BOTTLE
    8:30 NAP
    9:30 BREAKFAST
    11:OO BOTTLE
    11:30 NAP
    1:00 LUNCH
3 OR 3:30 BOTTLE THEN NAP
    5:30 DINNER
    7:00 BOTTLE THEN BED

WE HAVE SINCE CHANGE THE SCHEDULE A LITTLE, TAKEN OUT SOME NAPS AND BOTTLES.

I JUST REMEMBER AT THAT AGE THEY JUST LOVED PLAYING A LOT. I WOULD PLAY WITH THEM, BUT NOT ALL THE TIME SO THEY COULD EXPLORE ON THIER OWN.

    1. How many bottles per day?

    I was giving my two (and still do) 4 bottles a day. 7am, 12pm, 4pm and 6:30pm

    2. How much formula?

They would usually drink between 18 and 28ozs a day. I offer them 7ozs at a feeding

    3. When do we go to just one long nap a day?

My two were taking 2 naps and still do...they need them! They haven't shown any signs of dropping that 1st nap. We will see how they are still doing once they are 1 in a few more weeks but hoping they continue the 2 naps for a few more months.

    4. What do your kiddos do all day?

We have 2 mornings a week where I take them to a Mothergoose program/library program. We also take an outing at least once a day whether it's for a walk (usually around the mall because it's so cold to do outside) or a quick trip to the grocery store. When we are at home they have lots of toys that keep them entertained. We also read books before naps and at snacktime. They also enjoy 11:30am usually at this time I will let them crawl around and they have fun chasing me or each other. They love to get the chance to explore the area around them. Occasionally they get to watch sesame street.

    5. What are some good table/finger foods to give them?

different fruits (cantaloupe, pears, melon, mango, bananas)
    different veggies (peas, carrots)
    pasta (small macraroni)
    cheese cubes
    puffs/cheerios
    toast (with cheese or butter)

    Hope that helps!

    1. We nurse 4 time in 24 hours
    2. N/A
    3. We still take two long naps a day. 10-12 and 2-4. With DD #1 I didnt switch to one long nap 1-3:30 until she was 18 months.
    4. Play with toys, crawl, work on walking, SLEEP (they must be growing) at 4pm their sisters come home and they LOVE that time of day!! They eat three meals a day and one snack.
    5. Cheerios, baby fruit snacks by gerber, marshmellows (very sugary though), cheese, toast, grilled cheese, greenbeans, cooked carrots, pretty much anything we eat but cut up really small. We also still spoon feed them alot, yogurt, refried beans, cottage cheese, apple sauce.. anything really, no strawberries or nuts but everything else here at our house.

Our entire schedule looks like this

7am nurse, and this week go back to sleep until 9am!!
    9am get dressed
9:15 breakfast yogurt, banana, or cheerios
9:45 play with mom or dad.
    10:30 Nap
    12 wake up diaper change
    12:15 lunch
12:45 play with mom or on their own in bedroom while I clean up the upstairs.
    1:30 Nap
    3:30 wake up diaper change
** This is our longest awake period of the day
    3:45 snack
4 pm sisters come home from school and they LOVE to play with them for about 45 min.
6pm dinner for the whole family
7pm play in the living room, bedroom or toyroom. Work on walking etc.
    8Pm bath time (everyother night)
8:15 baby massage, get dressed snuggle daddy
    8:30 nurse
8:45 down for the night until 7 am!!

Really I dont know what is up this week with all the sleeping, usually our naps are a little longer than an hour and usually they are up by 8am.

    1. How many bottles per day?

My girls have a bottle at every meal (3) plus 1 before bedtime.

    2. How much formula?

They normally get 4 ozs at each meal and the one before bedtime is usually 6 ozs. They haven't had a lot of interest in bottles for the last month until the last couple of days. If they do drink their bottle quickly at meals, I will give them several more ounces.

    3. When do we go to just one long nap a day?

My girls are still taking 2 naps a day. My oldest child dropped hers at 11 months, but she doesn't require a lot of sleep. I'm hoping the twins keep taking 2 naps for quite a while!

    4. What do your kiddos do all day?
They play a lot with my oldest child. They are able to roam our downstairs so they wander from room to room playing with toys. They are only awake for two hours at a time so our am is usually spent playing, showering and getting dressed. The time before their pm nap is spend eating lunch, running errands or playing.

    5. What are some good table/finger foods to give them?
My girls are basically eating everything we are - maybe a jar of babyfood a day.

    Daily Schedule as follows:

6:00 a.m. wake up and go to daycare (this pushes back until 7 a.m. on the weekends)
    6:30 a.m. - 8 oz in a sippy cup and oatmeal
    8:30-10:30 a.m. - Nap
    11 a.m. - 2 oz. in a sippy cup and 3rd meal and a 2nd fruit
    2 p.m. - 8 oz. in a sippy cup
    2:30 - 4:30 p.m. - nap
5 p.m. - 2 oz. in a sippy cup and 3rd meal and a 2nd fruit, Gerber Graduate snacks too
    7 p.m. - 6 oz. bottle
    7:30 p.m. - bed

As of right now my kids only get one bottle a day and the rest is sippy cups (which they love). They eat on average 22-26 oz. a day of formula. As far as naps, I think my daycare provider is going to try and move them to one nap a day after they turn one. That is what she has done with her other kids. As far as finger foods, we are moving really slow in introducing finger foods. They love the gerber graduates snacks (puffs, wheels, etc). We have tried yogurt with no success. They both like little bits of waffles in the morning too.
