I have been lurking in here for a little while and my guys will "officially" be moved over here in a couple of weeks. Quick question:

For a birthday party your invited to what would be a good boy gift? Do not want to spend tons of money but, a decent type of gift.

    Thanks.

I bought a "band in a drum" set from Target for my friend's one year old boy. For my nephew, I bought the Leap Pad game and he loved it.

My guys just had their birthday and their absolute FAVORITE gift was a toy train. It sings and it moves when you hit the buttons. THEY LOVE IT!

Blocks. Drum. Toy train. Books. Big metal drum you get at hardware stores are a great pool.

Blocks, books and puzzles are always a hit for boys or girls. And, another vote for Leap Frog toys. Or, a ride on toy.

Backyardigans is the only dvd (we only have one -- Polka Party) they will actually sit and be entertained by. They must love the singing and dancing. My son though was into Sesame street at that age.
