I look after my friends 1 1/2 year girl twice a week which is fine but im finding it hard to keep them all occupied at the same time. If i sit down to do a jigsaw with them all dfd attention span is obviously shorter as shes younger and she gives up after 2 mins and gets bored. Which in turn means i have to find her something else to do which makes my 2 lose concentration and the whole thing just gets abandoned. What activities do you do with your toddlers that would be suitable for them all to do together? An ideas would be great! x

Great post thank you. I also started watching a little boy 2 days a week who is 3 months older and it is super tough to keep them occupied. I look forward to some responses!

I have 2.5 year old twins and a 1.5 year old boy and I find crayons and pictures I print from the internet are great for all of them i get the pictures from their favourite shows print them out and off we go. Out door time is also a life saver we have a yard full of stuff for them so they all love outside.

I am not sure if you have the facilities, but pouring, dumping, filling is great for kids those ages. My husband just built the boys a table (with 8" lip) that we have in our unfinished basement that we have filled with seeds. They spent an hour down there playing. Then two 3 year old boys joined them and also played for a while. I am sure that it would entertain a 1 and 1/2 year old as well. We built it so that we had something like a sand box inside because we can no longer go out!

Another activity that spans the age groups is singing and dancing!!
