What to bring for a full lake day with kids?

    We’re planning a full lake day with our two little ones (ages 4 and 7) and I’m trying not to overpack — but also don’t want to forget essentials. We’ll be swimming, maybe renting a kayak, and just hanging out. What are your non-obvious must-haves?

    Water shoes, snacks, hats, and a change of clothes. Also, wet wipes — you’ll thank me later. If you’re still looking for a good spot, check out https://www.bluffcreekmarina.com/. They’re set up really well for families and there’s plenty of room for kids to run around. Oh, and bring a big towel or mat for everyone to crash on during snack time!

    Can confirm: kids don’t care what you pack, they’ll get dirty, wet, and hungry anyway. Just go with the flow and enjoy the chaos!
