To properly prepare for a job interview, I recommend that you go to the Mr. Simon website. Here are some good tips on how to properly prepare for an interview. And the most important thing is that you have the opportunity to rehearse the dialogue in real time! The AI will ask you questions that are standard for any interviewer.

Behavioral questions like “Tell me about a time you dealt with a conflict at work” always throw me off. I’m not sure how to pick the right story or explain it clearly without rambling. What’s a good strategy to tackle these questions and come across as confident and genuine?

I used to struggle a lot with behavioral questions until I discovered the STAR method through this great resource on interview questions for administrative assistant at https://jobssite.ca/most-common-administrative-assistant-interview-questions/. It really helped me structure my answers by breaking them down into Situation, Task, Action, and Result. For instance, I talked about a time when I resolved a scheduling conflict by calmly coordinating between two busy managers. This approach highlighted my communication skills and ability to stay composed under pressure. Practicing this method made a big difference in how confident and clear I sounded during interviews!
