Okay... This is my LAST try at finding a good beginner acoustic guitar. Here is a link to a site on Amazon for it. https://www.amazon.com/Oscar-Schmidt-OG1FYS-Dreadnought-Acoustic/dp/B07RSDFDH4/ref=sr_1_137_sspa?crid=3OSDPF3NM9OLQ&keywords=oscar%2Bschmidt&qid=1579528922&s=musical-instruments&sprefix=Os%2Caps%2C274&sr=1-137-spons&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExSFQ0MThCOUM5RzFDJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDI2Njg3R0Y3VzAxVjZJUjZUJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAyNTA0MDFRQTBXQ0VWUEQ2SDUmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl&th=1 I looked all over the place for any negative reviews on it. I only found one , but that was because the person who wrote the review did not know they were supposed to tie the strap to the guitar. Not a single other bad review could I find. People were claiming in their reviews it was a good beginner guitar. It is 3/4 scale length and 39.6 inches long. Weighs 7.6 pounds. I Bought it at Austin Bazaar for $159.99 . Would have been $184.89 at Amazon. So I saved some money there. It comes with accessories such as a strap, a bag, picks, a tuner, a DVD, and instructional book. It is made of select spruce, mahogany, catalpa, and rosewood. Do you think THIS is a good beginner guitar ?
I see it's been a while since you’ve posted, but I'm curious—did you end up sticking with Guitar Pro, or did you try out any of the other tabs software people mentioned? I’ve been using TuxGuitar for quick stuff, but it feels clunky sometimes. Wondering if anyone has found a good balance between ease of use and functionality lately.
The 3/4 scale length and lightweight body should make it comfortable to handle, especially if you’re just starting out. The fact that it comes with accessories like a tuner and instructional DVD is a nice bonus too—it’ll definitely help you get up and running quicker. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Oscar Schmidt models being beginner-friendly. If you’re really into expanding your skills, there’s also some drone cinematography training in Prague that I’ve heard about.
