we were actually told at about 24-26 weeks to abstain from having sex from our doctor. So im gonna say during part of the pregnancy its normal because during the first part well i had super duper hormones lol and i wanted my hubby all the time. But now that we are at the later stages of pregnancy and there have been some issues with us and not to mention feeling uncomfortable and such although at times i would love to be intimate with my husband i just don't think my body would really appreciate it. lol

Unless you've been put on pelvic rest by your OB, or s/he has any specific concerns related to your specific pregnancy having to do with sex, there is no (medical) reason to abstain from sex. For me though, I'm usually tired, hormonal & uncomfortable when pregnant - none of which really lends itself to intimacy! ;) I do make an effort though a couple of times a week for my hubby as I know how important it is to him.

My hubby didn't really like it, but we did it until we were put on pelvic rest around 11 weeks for the remainder of the 1st trimester.

The early stages of pregnancy didn't bother me so much. After a while it was difficult to get a comfortable position, but we did. I don't think it was a couple times a week, but definitely once a week or every 2 weeks.

All the time!! Seriously with the boys we were on pelvic rest from 22wks on but with the others it was all the time. With this last baby the last time we did the deed was the day we went into labor, one last hurrah I guess :spiteful: Of course it depends on how you feel and if you have restrictions. But I had no issues with it. I enjoyed it.

Online dating has made meeting new people easier, but sometimes it feels a bit impersonal.
