Hey all, my microwave’s acting up and I’m not sure what’s going on. It’s making a weird humming noise and sometimes it doesn’t heat food evenly. I’ve cleaned it out and checked the turntable, but it’s still not working like it used to. Anybody got any tips or maintenance hacks to get it back to normal? Really don’t want to replace it if I don’t have to!

I tried a few things on my own, but eventually, I called AK Appliance Repair for help. You can check them out at https://akappliancerepairca.com/ . They’re known for fast and reliable home appliance repair in Tustin, California, and they had my microwave fixed the same day. Turned out the magnetron needed to be replaced, and they used a genuine factory part to get it back in working order. Plus, they gave me a great tip: always cover food while heating to prevent splatters that can damage the internal parts over time. They’re super convenient and don’t charge extra for evening or weekend calls—highly recommend them!
