What materials can be used in 3D printers nowadays?

Initially, I thought it was only plastic. I even argued with someone out of ignorance, trying to prove that nothing other than plastic can be printed in 3D printers. Now I understand that the range of materials used is actually much broader. This is quite obvious, given the industries that now use 3D printers.

 

Well, there’s definitely more than just plastic. I’ve even heard of printers that use porcelain, clay, ceramics, metal powders, and other materials that can be effective for various industries.
